The Helmand Archives
This is a collection of stories from Helmand Province. Why only Helmand and not the rest of the conflict in Afghanistan? Eventually, maybe when I'm old, I'd like to publish something specific to Helmand Province. I deployed there twice as an 03 and want to share the stories of others who have been to that place.
I am open to running other area-specific pages (any conflict), but would need help doing so.

First Battalion, Third Marines deployment to Helmand Province in 2009. This first part covers the early days of the deployment in Nawa, leading up to Operation Moshtarak in Marjah.
