About this site

I cover the Chicago Blackhawks at On Tap Sports Net and have a concerning level of fascination with the tactical side of hockey. This is where I can post my hockey thoughts free from the constraints of a more... civilized audience. It's like listening to the drunk guy in the smoke pit ramble on about whatever.

I'm also writing about Helmand Province, Afghanistan. I did two deployments there as a Marine infantryman with 1/7. I want to tell my story and the stories of others who served there.
